A lot of people's marriages fail because of the lack of communication.

To continue to have a working marriage, you and your husband should talk a lot. Everything should be communicated together. Whether its about your kids, family problems, or etc. Communication is key.
Best time to communicate!
The best time to spark up a conversation with your husband is either at dinner time at the table, or right before you go to bed. While you're both free from everything, you can maybe discuss something simple like, how your day went, or something more important like your kid's performance in school.
My preference is right before bed. At that time we become focused on each other and that's the time when he's most vulnerable and maybe want to get some things off of his mind. I usually start by asking how was work and he would then answer and then lead the conversation in which ever way it flows. I think without communication, a lot of things would become misunderstood and could cause small things to grow into bigger things when there is no agreements.
